Bares II Wind Power Plant consists of 22 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 35 MW. Located in Balikesir-Turkey, the project produces 123,000 MWh per year to the Turkish national grid - enough to power over 25,000 local homes. The electricity produced by project activity results in an emission reduction of 70,371 tonnes of CO2e per year. The project has been producing clean electricity since 2006, and contributes to local employment as well as the sustainable energy industry.
